ABOUT

sense-logo-bold-black-on-white-wppLately I’ve been realising that we have to get something up here which shows what we are all about – no easy task.
So I did what anyone would do – get someone else to do it!

Just kidding. It is true though. I asked Leanne to write something using her novel-writing skills.
Seriously. She had written six full novels by the time she was 12. Or something. (Is that right Leanne).

So look out for Leanne’s take on this page, when she finds her motivation. (All good stories don’t just come like that. They need time to germinate).

Anyway, in the meantime heres an email I sent Ruaridh, a young person who wanted to know more about SENSE:

Sure,

SENSE Media is a youth-led social enterprise that uses media to empower and inspire young people.

You attended our camera challenge a year or so ago, so we thought you might be interested in a new opportunity to become part of SENSE.

My colleague left a message on your voicemail the other day, or she may have spoken to you.

We held our first consultation session last Tuesday at Channel 4 where we began to generate debate around media. At the end we asked if everyone would like to be on board and meet once a month as a group.

We are looking at producing a website to begin with, some film and possibly ressurect SENSE Magazine (or whatever we decide to call it).

If you are interested, i’ll keep you on our email list and invite you to our next meeting. If not, no worries I’ll take you off so we don’t spam you.

Best wishes,

Duane

Hi there Duane,
I’ve got a few emails about this but don’t really know what it’s about! Send me some details over as I may be interested.
Thanks,
Ruaridh
